We are currently seeking talented and experienced Senior Nuke Artists to join our creative advertising team in Bangkok, Thailand. 

A Lead Compositor at Bloom Film Design will work on many high-profile projects for global advertising agencies. As a result, they will have an in-depth understanding of how to technically and creatively realize the unique look and feel of our projects. They will also have an invaluable understanding and knowledge of our technology, in-house applications, workflow, methodologies and pipeline and a clear understanding of the high level of creative output required.

A Lead Compositor oversees a team of Senior and Junior Compositors, and will assign and critique their team’s work, as well as provide mentorship to their junior artists. They are required to be highly visually creative with an excellent knowledge of visual effects techniques and the software and hardware they operate.

Overtime, it is expected that the Lead Nuke Compositor brings creativity, quality and a defining look to the team’s output, learn on-set supervision techniques and knowledge, build relationships with clients and suppliers and evolve to become a VFX Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compositing of complex VFX sequences that can incorporate CG, live action, stock footage, designed elements
• Working collaboratively with other members of the VFX & Compositing teams.
• Engaging in calls and meetings with directors, advertising agencies and brands.
• Mentoring juniors and mid-level artists to push their shots further.
• Managing dailies with their team of artists.
• Managing external and inter office workshare.
• Extracting mattes from blue/green screen photography using Keylight, Primatte or IBK.
• Advanced 2D and 3D camera tracking.
• Advanced photoreal CG integration into live action plates.
• Advanced set extensions.
• Complex matte painting projections utilizing 3D cameras and geometry.
• Advanced photoreal full CG compositing.
• Paint and rotoscoping.

Technical skills

• Advanced technical knowledge of Nuke
• Seamless integration of live action, Blue/Green screen, CGI sources
• Advanced knowledge of CG rendering and compositing multi-channel EXRs
• Advanced understanding of 2D and 3D tracking
• Highly proficient in using IBK, Primatte or Keylight
• Excellent knowledge of Nuke’s 3D system
• Advanced understanding of colorspace pipelines
• Advanced knowledge of cameras, film resolutions, aspect ratios and lenses

Experience

• Completed a degree in VFX or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in the production of high-end 3D VFX for advertising (3+ years preferred)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Accountant, you will work closely with managing directors to build performance review and analysis tools to drive positive business outcomes. You will support our Executive Producers to attend to international clients and projects in the TV and Film industry dealing with various overseas currencies. You will support research on growth into new markets, company development, potential acquisitions, and interface with the Legal, HR/Recruitment and the Accounting team on a wide range of ad hoc research and analysis projects.

TASKS

• Drive the company’s growth through improving the finance process, spend and enable smart strategic financial investments.
• Support handling of daily accounting activities like invoicing, payment, account payable, account receivable in multiple currencies (USD, SGD, THB, RMB etc…).
• You will be in charge of organizing the General Ledger, Fixed Asset, general cost, VAT, etc. with the objective to follow the accounting standard.
• Provide accounting support to the Management team to create performance review and analysis tools.
• Work closely with HR and Administration for operation and clerical support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now seeking skilled CG Supervisors (or experienced CG Leads) looking to create high-end VFX for commercial and film projects. We have a collaborative team environment where 2D and 3D VFX artists work together to create stunning, award-winning visual effects. Our pipeline is essentially based on Autodesk 3DS Max and the Foundry Nuke. In order to meet and exceed all project requirements, our CG Supervisors closely collaborate with creatives, directors, and clients to oversee every phase of 3D development and lead the team to excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading teams of CG artists creating 3D content for a variety of projects
• Lead the compositing team to efficiently use 3D assets and renders
• Contributing on-the-box as a generalist or specialist where needed 
• Driving creative excellence of 3D content from concept through delivery 
• Working with external teams and vendors to extend team capabilities 
• Breaking down and help quoting on complex VFX projects 
• Attending shoots and supervising VFX requirements on-set 
• Attending client meetings from initial pitches and concepts, through to project completion 
• Nurturing junior talent within the 3D department including helping with technical and creative problems and passing on knowledge when necessary 
• Fostering a supportive, productive environment on project teams and within the company 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the production of high-end 3D VFX for advertising (3+ years preferred) 
• Good teamwork and excellent communication skills, within the VFX team and with Producers, Directors, and clients 
• Familiarity with bidding projects 
• Extensive experience with 3DSMax and Vray preferred, Nuke, Houdini, Blender, Unreal a plus.
• Ability to lead disciplines including 3D modeling, rendering, animation, texturing, lighting, shading, effects and rigging 
• Familiarity with renderers such as Vray (or similar) 
• Experience with on-set supervision 
• Design-oriented with strong aesthetic sensibility, good use of color, clean typography, and attention to detail.
